Rinhee Suberwal: Navratri is the Time to Strengthen Our Aura with Devotion

Mumbai: Astrologer and spiritual guide Rinhee Suberwal believes that the current period between 2020 and 2035 is a phase of intense karmic cycles, which is why the entire world is witnessing unrest and suffering. She describes this as a “khad pralay” — a transformative phase that humanity must endure and rise through.

Speaking about the significance of Navratri, Rinhee explains, “Navratri is extremely auspicious as it resonates with the energy of nine planets and nine gemstones. This year itself carries the vibration of the number 9, which denotes Mangal (Mars). It is very important to pacify Mangal so that we receive its positive influence. Maa Durga represents the supreme power in each person’s life, and praying or fasting during Navratri helps us balance the negative aspects of our lives.” Rinhee emphasizes that devotion should always be disciplined and dedicated, as divine powers only respond to true intentions. She adds that worshipping deities creates a strong aura and protective shield around individuals. She also highlights the role of colors in spiritual energy, cautioning that darker shades may make one feel vulnerable, while activating the positive energies of Jupiter and Venus can bring abundance and happiness.

On the practice of fasting, Rinhee says, “Some people fast, some don’t, but what matters is the intention. If you are fasting and praying without good thoughts, then you will not benefit. During this time, one should listen to satvik bhajans, which elevate energy.” She further advises that all zodiac signs should celebrate all nine days of Navratri with equal devotion. Reciting the Durga Kawach Path benefits every zodiac, and worshipping one’s Kuldevi also brings divine blessings. For Rinhee Suberwal, Navratri is not just about rituals but about connecting with one’s inner strength through Maa Durga’s divine energy — a time to cleanse the mind, strengthen the aura, and walk through challenges with positivity and faith.
